EAST MEREDITH — Hilda F. Leddy, 76, of East Meredith, died Saturday night, Oct. 24, 1998, at the Oneonta Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
Arrangements are pending with Hall & Peet Funeral Home, Delhi.

Hilda F. Leddy
EAST MEREDITH — Hilda F. Leddy, 76, of East Meredith, died Saturday night, Oct. 24, 1998, at the Oneonta Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 20, 1921, in New York City, the daughter of Max and Viola (Berringer) Frankenberg, and married John P. Leddy on Jan. 18, 1941, in the Bronx. Mr. Leddy died June 26, 1980.
A homemaker and former longtime Yonkers resident, Hilda moved to East Meredith in 1979, and was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Little Flower R.C. Church, Davenport Center. She was a baseball enthusiast and an avid fan of the N.Y. Mets and Giants, and had been a resident of the Oneonta Nursing Home since May 1995.
Surviving are two sons, John P. and his wife, Joanne Leddy, of Delhi and Peter A. Leddy of Vestal; a daughter, Margaret and her husband, Paul Lipani, of High Bridge, N.J.; eight grandchildren, Arlene, David, Sean, Christine, and Colleen Leddy, and Tricia, Lauren and Allison Lipani; and an aunt, Helen Beale of Long Island.
She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Michael Leddy in 1996, and Susan Lipani in 1997.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at the Hall & Peet Funeral Home, Delhi, the family will not be in attendance.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, with burial following in the East Meredith Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in memory of Hilda Leddy to the West Kortright Centre, R.R. 1, Box 541, East Meredith, N.Y. 13757.
Arrangements are entrusted to Robert A. Peet, Delhi.
