Did Joseph Severin Bourg marry Rosalie Marie Leboeuf 1823 - 1893 daughter of Charles Gabriel Joseph Leboeuf and Rosalie Josephe Aucoin or did he marry Marguerite Rosalie Leboeuf 1816 - daughter of Jean Jacques Leboeuf and Marie Jeanne Lirette? Which of these women has Adeline in her name and which one married my ancestor Jean Evariste Babin? There are so many sources that dont agree with each other on this subject, on both ancestry.com and rootswebworldconnect.

Need advice to find extended family

Hi, I'm looking for any info on Nolton Anthony LeBoeuf of Metarie, LA born 1921, son of Marcell LeBoeuf. His nickname was Bay but I'm not sure of the spelling. He died around 1975 in Alabama. His sons where estranged and is looking to meet their real family. Any idea on where to begin looking?

Some Massachusetts LeBoeufs were exiles from Acadia [now Nova Scotia and New Brunswick] in the 1758 British deportations, aka "Le Grande Derangement". They are related to the Louisiana LeBoeufs through their common ancestors in Acadia. There is a big LeBouef website about this, google up "LeBoeuf Acadie". Other LeBoeufs came from France (Jacques LeBoeuf) to Quebec (son Pierre born Quebec) and then from Quebec to Louisiana (Charles Hyacinthe LeBoeuf), thus are French and not Acadian.

Looking for Grandpa's Relatives - Nolton Anthony Le Boeuf

My husband's Grandfather was Nolton Anthony LeBoeuf born 1921 in LA. His father was Marcell LeBoeuf from Marrero, LA. Not sure where originally. These guys moved around alot. Nolton married Willie Mae Cherry of South Carolina and had two sons - Donnie and Ronnie. After the divorce, Nolton was not allowed to see them and their names were changed from LeBoeuf to Way. Nolton did find his son's again before he died around 1975. Donnie Way went to LA to find his cousins and did reconnect but then Katrina happened. He lost connection altogether. Donnie pasted away one year ago so the remaining LeBoeuf's in South Carolina have no information to try to reconnect with. Several of Nolton's decendants have changed their names from Way back to LeBoeuf including my husband.

Please, we need your help. Ask the old timers if they remember a Nolton or a Marcell. They are listed in my tree LeBoeuf - Way Family tree.

Can't be the same person. I have her marriage record. She was married in 1817, she couldn't have been born in 1812.

Her father died 4 Oct 1811,in Houma Louisiana so nine months after that should be the last possible birthdate.
Birthplaces of several of her siblings is unknown, hindering searches. Some earlier births were in what is now St. John the Baptist parish.

Looking for birth date of Carmelite LeBoeuf

I am trying to find a good birth date for Carmelite LeBoeuf, daughter of Francois LeBoeuf and Genevieve Dubier, and wife of Juan Placencia (or Plaisance). She was quoted in the 1880 census as being 98 years old, giving a birth year of 1782. This cannot be correct because she would be too old to be still having children in 1838, the year her last child was born. The census-taker may have meant 78, which would give a birth year of 1802. The 1900 census shows Carmelite living as a boarder in St. James parish. The age given here is 87 with a date of birth of Oct 1812. This date is too late, since she was married in 1817 and her first child was born in 1819. Does anyone have a good source for a more reasonable birth year?

The only information I have on a LeBoeuf, is that there is
a Josephine LeBouef and infant of Joseph LeBouef buried in
the family section at Calvary Cemetary in Evanston, IL.
She was buried May 8th, 1883 and the baby was buried, Jan.
22, 1884. The name of the plot is under Alonzo Ducharme.

She was married 22 Sept. 1817 and her father was Jean Francis LeBoeuf and mother was Genevieve Dubies. Do you have any information on these relativies?

His daughter Carmelite Josephine LeBoeuf married 22 Sept. 1817 to Jean Plaisance.

I'm sorry, but I have no information on the Le Boeuf family you're researching. My information is quite narrow since I specialize in the Le Boeufs from Jersey, Channel Islands, who came to the US via Newfoundland in the 1890s.

Mrs. Madore Leboeuf Meighen, 22, resident of Big Lake, died at Lamapac, Calif., and the body will arrive here Wednesday afternoon for burial Thursday with funeral services to be held at Big Lake at 2:30 p.m.
Surviving are her husband Sgt. Lawrence Meighen, USA; father, Daniel Leboeuf, Big Lake, and sister Mrs. Guy O. Parker, Cameron.
Arrangements are in charge of the Hixson funeral home.

My great grandmother's name was Octavia Grenier Couture and she was born in 1874 in Canada. She died in Worcester on 3/21/42. She was married to Henri Breault in 1890 and then later to Hormidas Couture on 12/8/98 in Worcester. Her oldest son was Dewey Couture, my grandfather. His only child was Walter E. Couture, my father. Octavia's parents were Narcisse Grenier (b.10/5/1936 in Sorel) and Francoise Lussier (b. 11/5/1932 in Canada). I would like to go back as far as possible on this family tree. Do you know if there is a place in Canada where you can get actual documents/records showing proof of births, deaths, marrieages? Thanks for your help.

I have found info on my family from a distant cousin, who settled the mystery of my great-grandmother being an "indian princess". My great-grandfather was Rudolph LeBoeuf , my grandfather was Paul D. LeBoeuf Sr. He died in 1997. My grandmother is still alive in Fla., her name is Gertrude. I live in Webster, Ma. If anyone can fill in some blanks about my family history it would be appreciated. At the far end of Sacred Heart Cemetery in Webster, MA, there is a grave stone for Jean B.(Baptiste) LeBeouf, born Jan 19, 1856. On the same stone is Mary LANGLAIS born Jan 19 1857, Died October 22, 1921.
There is a HUGE monument for LeBoeuf close to the entrance on the left, that's where Melchior, Naeomie, Telesphore, Laval John, Norman, Leonard, Ida May and Eugene are buried.
Telesphore was an attorney and had his own law office.
Melchior was born in 1854, and may have been the brother of "John" (Jean B).
I am also researching the LeBoeuf's.
The 1929 Webster Directory has Arthur (occupation- Weaver)living with Dorothy at a house at 61 Pleasant St. Webster. Are these your parents?

I'm researching LeBoeuf's because my mom is a LeBoeuf. Daughter of Rudolph LeBoeuf and Florida Blanchard, Rudolph was the son of Leon and Angelina Guertin, Leon was the son of Moise and Melanie Leduc, Moise was the son of Jean Baptiste and Olive Beaudrealt, Jean Baptiste the son of Basile and Angeline Bergevin. You can pick up Basile and descendants from the "Vickerson" family tree on Worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com.
There are limited years of directories available at the Webster library. You can see all the LeBoeufs living in pretty much the same areas and even some living together in the larger houses.
I live in Putnam CT, which is about ten minutes from Webster, and Sacred Heart Cemetery.
I've been trying to figure out who belongs to who, and most of the answers I should be able to get through the Town of Webster. Problem is that the Index books for the Vital records are being restored, and were unavailable for some time. Will be going in early August to try and access and make the connections.
