I have information that could put a cog in someone's genealogy wheel. It certainly has mine. In the 1850 Ohio census, Thomas Leaming is listed with wife Huldah and stepson Charles M. Merrill. Huldah apparently was born in 1826 in Maine. Can anyone tell me if this was Huldah's first marriage and if Charles was her son by a previous marriage? Charles was born 15 Jan 1846 in Ohio and married Ellen J. Johnson 28 July 1867. Charles is my great grandfather.
