I don't reember if I replied to this sometime or somwhere, but I am confident that we have the same lines goinghere. I say this because my great aunt once showed me old photographs, and if I recall correctly, one of the Leake's in a photgraph had something written on the back about such an acedemy in Canandaigua. I believe it was associated with the Society of Friends. Of this I am not certain, but my suspisions are very strong. I recall reading an obituary that indicated that the funeral service was officiated by a female relative who was a Friends minister. Also, the photo I mentioned. Clues, clues, clues. I am so eager to find something more concrete. I feel that if I can find anything on Arnold D. Leake, it might shed some light on all of this.
