My great grandfather, Hugh Leacock and his wife, Sarah Jane, came to America from Desertmartin in the mid 1840's and they settled in Erie County, Pa. I have been in touch with the lady who you contacted and would like to be in the loop, too. I am sure there is a connection between all the Leacocks in that area, and I am very interested in trading information with you. I have not been able to find much information before the birth of my Hugh Leacock, but would love to correspond with anyone who has Leacock roots in the Derry area. I would really like to find his siblings, and be able to trace these lines.
