My grandmother Elizabeth Leacock b. 1733 in Trenton, New Jersery,died in Spencer co. Ky. abt 1805, married June 25, 1762 to William Kester . Elizabeth's father was Joseph Leacock and his will is on file in Trenton, N. J. Joseph Leacock/Lecock's children were Elizabeth, John, Nathan, Joseph, Henry, William, and Sarah. I am married to Winston Leacock. He is the son of William and Annette Leacock. they had two sons Winston and William. Winston and I had two sons WinstonII and Tyvon. William Jr. married Althea and have four kids. William,Devon, and set of twins.Their father was from the Barbados. He moved to SC. that is were me and my family live. WilliamII and his family live in GA. WilliamI passed on Aug.1985

It appears that many Leacocks of African decent have roots in Barbados. Although I was born here, my father, Frederick Leacock, was also from Barbados.

I know that I am related to the Leacock's as a young child I would visit them in St.Lucy and St. Peter, but I don't really know them well, my aunt maiden name was Leacock. Been in the States for some time. I am very curious as to who my ancestors really are. It would be an absolute to know more about my father's family, I am originally from St. Thomas in Barbados.
