Hi Fay, I think we have actually had communication many moons ago as I recognise your name!

Unfortunately I have no George Lea in my family. Do you happen to know his parents names as there might be a link there. The Cheshire records are available on line back to the 1600's and I have taken my line back to 1690, but haven't done a lot of research on branches of my Lea family, only the direct line.

I do, however, have a Moores in my family. Hannah Moores born 1802 (could she be a sibling of your Mary Moores?), married Richard Lea. I only have the name of Hannah's father, which was Francis Moores. Hannah died young (childbirth?) being only 33years old.
