Hello Kathy,

Thank you for replying. First if you wish to use this website as contact it's okay. If not you can email me at pilbrow@itar.ca. I am in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. My family has been in this country since 1660, Jacques Leblanc (my firts ancestor )came from Normandie France. He married Suzanne Rousselin in Montreal Quebec Canada in 16666. Presently I have 12 generations from father to son, including my son John C. Pilbrow. How the White name came in? Well my great grand Uncle Joseph Leblanc migrated to the US late 1890's and 30 years later he change his name to White. His last known address to my family was Los Angeles California. Your family is from Canada, fantastic! Where in Canada? You know I am willing to help you in exchange of yours if you can of course.

Sincerely yours,
Rollande

Hi, I'm starting on this side of my family tree, so I have only a few names. My Grandmothers name was Rita White.
Her mother was Ida (Castine) White, don't know husbands name. Ida had a sister Louise (Castine) Le Blanc and a sister Lizzie. They were from Nova Scotia, then moved to MA and NH ( I think)
I have many pictures to share if it is the same line.
Thanx, cathy_02343@yahoo.com

Hi Rollande,
My mother went there many years ago. She said it was a small town, but she doesn't remember the name. It was within 14 miles of Yarmouth.

Classification: Query
Surnames: White, LeBlanc, Boucher, Bushey
I am searching for a William/Walter White apparently born in Vermont as well as his parents. He married Emelia Boucher in Frelighsburg, QC on July 7, 1908. My father mentioned having a grandmother (I believe, great) named Emily LeBlanc. Therefore, I have reason to believe that my White's were originally LeBlanc's.
William/Walter's parents were Joseph White and Marie Ledoux. Any help or direction is appreciated. Thank you, Kim
