Breau or Breaux In LA we can have both.
.
I could not find you on FB there were no Mary Breau without an X? I also can not wait to see what you have.
.
Unfortunately I think it is going to be the usual Rene of the house of (de) Blanc that is just wishful thinking.
.
My Le Blanc's Etienne was a prisoner at Ft Beausejour who settled on upper Bayou Lafouche. Across the valley was Ft Edwards where Joseph Le Blanc's Family were prisoners. Joseph settled on the River at Welcome. At least four sets of their children married after coming to la Louisiane. Are you from either of theses families.
My story in 1908 my grandparents each left upper Bayou Lafouche for New Orleans. They married there. For hurricane Katrina I was evacurating up to BR. After 7 hours on the road I decided to stop at Gonzales instead. I ended up staying. I say I came back for 100 years. I am only related to about half of the people here.
I did not attend your LeBlanc 1985 but if you look in the pictures there will be my 5th cousin Jim Le Blanc wearing a Korean War ball cap. Did your family go to the GRA1999 leBlanc Reunion in Southwest Louisiana?
