Hello, I am the ggg granddaughter of Antoine LeBeau, Sr. I have just recently found out who my ancestors were. Antoine had five sons, John Baptiste LeBeau, Antoine LeBeau Jr, Peter LeBeau, Alex LeBeau, and Henry LeBeau. This is my understanding according to the papers that my uncle Kenneth Pitt provided me. My lineage begins with Alex LeBeau. He was the 4th eldest brother. He married Zonice (Zouie Chadron. They had 3 sons and a daughter. Felix LeBeau, Johnson LeBeau, Robert LeBeau, and Nellie LeBeau. My great grandfather is Felix LeBeau. his second marriage was to Mildred Mitchell and they had a daughter, Mildred Matilda (Catherine) LeBeau. She had a daughter named Marjorie Catherine Revere (my mother). My mother married an Absentee Shawnee man named Ronald Craig Ellis, Sr.
They had myself and my brother, Ronald Craig Ellis, Jr. I am currently trying to trace my ggg grandfathers line back into France. I know part of my Native American lineage, which I am mostly, but know nothing of my French lineage. If you have any leads that can help me, I would appreciate whatever you wish to share with me.

My Great Grandfather is Henry Andrew LeBeau. He is the only son of Peter LeBeau and Mary Christansen. Grandpa Henry was married to Rose Hopkins (2nd wife) and to a lady by the last name of Swimmer (1st wife). I can't recall her first name at the moment. I am from the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota but currently reside in Colorado.

Happy to hear from you. I'd about given up of hearing from anyone on that query. I have quite a bit on the LeBeau's taken from the Family Tree book written by Casimir LeBeau many years ago.. Henry actually had three wives. The third was Gertrude Laundreau Robertson. No children.
Which wife are you descended from? Rose Hopkins. Who was your grandfather and father. I would love to be able to fill in more of Henry's descendents.
Is there any information that I might have that you would like. I will be glad to share on the LeBeau's. Donna Kentch

Hello. Yes you are quite correct. I remember only Grandma Gertie when she was married to Grandpa Henry. I was very little at the time. I am decendent of Rose Hopkins. My grandfather was Lloyd Allen LeBeau. He married Helen Azure (Belcourt, North Dakota). My father is Wesley LeBeau. I just happened to stumble onto this site and found the inquiry for Antoine LeBeau. Grandpa Lloyd had two siblings. Homer and Zelda, both deceased.

Hi Again.
The lady I'm helping is now 83. She wants me to try to find out about Mary Makes Mouth LeBeau. Have you heard anything about Mary who would have been Antoine LeBeau's wife. All I know is that her father was Little Thunder, who is mentioned in some of the Indian battles in Wyoming. He was from down around Rosebud area. I've seen a few historical things about him but not his wives or children.

I have that Henry's third wife was Lucy Swimmer, b. 1891. They had two children. Richard and Adelia.

Could this be a connection?
