This is an old post - hope this info reaches you. - Hi, I may have some info for you re Jean LeBeau. I have just recently found that he is an ancestor and have received a letter from a cousin who supplied me with the following. - our info starts at Jean, so I am assuming he is the son of Abraham. - This is what I have:
Jean: born before 1680 in Guise, France, then moved to Haarlem, Netherlands, then London. He left the church in Haarlem 20 May 1703. - He married Judith Hanneteau (note similarity of spelling) in Haarlem on 1 Apr 1696. Their children, Jean, Ann and Pierre were born in Haarlem, and Jacques, Daniel and Elizabeth in Spitalfields, London.
It is Daniel who is my ancestor. Hoping this may be of some help to you, Regards, Marion

I haven't found anything new on Abraham. Apparently he was Huguenot, and I did find one reference that placed his birth about 1640, but I haven't been able to find it again.

Hello Bob,

I haven't found many Abraham Lebo (LeBeau) references. There is a French site that has one about the same time period, but shows a different marriage to son Jean, who I'm finding married a Judith Hannotiaux, but the French site has a different name - Debecq, I think. Drop me a line if you find anything, and I'll do likewise. I don't get on here often though.
