Hi Sharon
Know you place this add long ago, but may be my answer will still reach you.
I'm doing research for a lady I know who is my neighbour, who is trying to find about his father family in Hungary. Her father Dzso Lazar, was born in 1928 in Hungary and married in Bristol( England) in 1956. She thinks he emigrated to Canada in 1957. He would have arrived to England years before around the end of the second world war in 1948. He had to scape from Hungary running away from the germans and was injured by shots in the back but managed to scape, he lost a sister who was with him, the sister name was Judith and that's how her father named her, after the sister he lost. So her maiden name is Judy Lazar. I read you message and I'm writing because in her parents marriage certificate it says his father's father name is Isram, and it can easily be a misspelling and he could be Istvan. Hope you read this.please let me know. thanks
