MYSTERIES TO UNRAVEL:
1. Considering Martha Washington (Layton) Olmsted was married in 1904, why is she living with her mother and brother-in-law's family in Stamford, CT, as shown in the 1910 census results below?

This family is of my descendancy:
Living at 66 Main street, Stamford, CT
My Paternal G-Grandfather: Fred Searles, 36 yrs. born abt. 1874, shoe cutter, in a factory (likely, Lounsbury & Soule, Stamford, CT)
My Paternal G-Grandmother: Alice (Layton) Searles, age 33, born 1877
My G-Uncle: Layton Searles, age 11, born abt. 1899
My Grandfather: Harold Adelbrecht Searles, age 8, born abt. 1901
My G-Uncle: Gilbert Henderson Searles, age 4, born abt. 1906
Martha Olmsted (OUR SUBJECT), age 27, born 1883, (married 5 years, having had 2 children, 1 living)
Nancy (Alexina, nee Peckham) Layton, age 61, born abt. 1849

2. Apparently, Martha commits suicide. Why does she do this? What is she doing in PA a few months after being recorded in the 1910 census in CT?

3. Where is her husband, Arthur Olmsted in 1910? Where did he go after her death?

4. What became of her child, not shown living with her in 1910?

Any information, connecting lines, stories, or theories are welcome!
Thank you!
