I have recently read your post regarding William
Layton of N.J. and the lack of info. I to have
a Layton that I cannot find any info on. In your
research have you come across a John Layton of
Middlesex Co., or Essex Co. Va.? Time frame
would be 1700-1800. I hope to hear from you soon.
