Were you able to find out any more information about your grandparents and the link to the Bruce Clan? My grandfather, Albert Bruce Lawson also mentioned to us that we tie back to the Bruces of Scottland. I have not been able to make that connection yet. I do know that my grandfather's father was also Albert married to Elizabeth Nielsen of Denmark, and his father was Lewis Lawson. I am told Lewis' wife was a Bruce, but haven't found a record of her or who she is. I also have a very old Swedish bible with an inscription to Mr and Mrs L. Lawson in 1928, I haven't had it translated yet but it does say Kingsburg, CA.
