Hi

I am looking for any information on the Lawson family from Pancras/Marylebone, London and Chatham, Kent, especially John Lawson (born.1803 Chatham, Kent), Thomas George Lawson (b.1843/44 - London) and William George Lawson (b.1878 - Pancras).

If anyone has any links to this family, or has any information, then I would love to hear from you!

Jane

This is probably a long shot but my grandfather William George Lawson was born 6th April 1872 at Peace Cottages Grays Inn Lane St Pancras, son of William 1825 and grandson of William 1803 also had many male cousins in Chatham/Gillingham area although I have not found a John or Thomas. All occupied as brickfield labourers.

I have some details of your family in my Lawson One Name study. Please have a look at my web site at www.yorksgen.co.uk everything is totally free to all researchers of the Lawson Name worldwide.

Gillingham and brick makers have been mentioned in the Forums so you might link up with at least one other researcher who is already a member on my site. One of the names is actually John Lawson too.

Dear Jane,

I have alredy tried to contact you without success. I am linked to William George Lawson through my grandmother, and would love to hear from you. I am sure that you have information that could clear up a long standing family mystery.
