I am interested in linking Lawsons in Canada with their ancestors birthplace. I am descended from Alexander Lawson, born about 1822 in Scotland, but haven't been able to determine from exactly where! There is a Lawson DNA project at Family Tree DNA that is inexpensive and easy to join, a simple cheek swab will do it. If you know any Lawson males please encourage them to join.
