I still have copies of "WILLIAM LAWSON, A SCOTTISH REBEL and Other Pionner Families of Southern Appalachai". The book is well documented, hardcover, index and with the addendum section now has 548 pages.
William Lawson was born in 1731 Montrose, Scotland and died in 1826 Scott County, VA. His life was long and turbulent. He fought the Brittish in his homeland and also in the American Revolution. Chapter one gives more detail of his turbulent life.
