Let me clarify since that was posted in 2007. Richard Lawson who is found on Census's early in McMinn County, TN. Yes there are two Richard's. The one born in 1789 is indeed my Richard. He marries Mary Campbell in 1815 (I have that source). He is the father of Jeremiah born in 1818. I am pretty sure that Jeremiah is not the first born of Richard and Mary because there is 3 years married before Jeremiah is born. I just need to find the others. I have some speculation. But this Jeremiah is also the one who married Dicey Ellis. I'm really starting to think Richard Lawson is from the Surrey County Lawson's. Any input?? Thank you KL
