Avoca — Baron E. “Skippy” Lawrence, 77, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (May 2, 2013) at his home.

Skippy was born May 28, 1935, in Binghamton.

He was a former railroad employee in Binghamton.

Skippy was predeceased by his mother Alice Lawrence; his Grandma Ackley and his beloved sister, Susan Stanwick.

Skippy enjoyed BINGO, bowling, artwork and daily walks to the Avoca Market and Avoca Post Office. He was extremely fond of and proud of Avoca’s Memorial Day Parade, which he looked forward to participating in every year.
