just to throw in a new suggestion.............
wonder if the census taker transcribed the name "dolly" instead of the name "Polly" .....short for mary....????????????? that might be the reason we haven't be able to find dolly since the 1850 census. can someone who has a written copy of the 1850 blount co tn census take a look at it.
