His Father was Mitchell Lovely and Margaret ?

According to the Lavallee Gedcom,This is the Same Person.I am trying to Gather as Much info as Possible.Even Though i am Not Directly Involved i Believe i am Still Related.I have tons of info that leads me in this Direction.Anybody else run into this Problem?

What Lavallee gedcom are you looking at? Scott, to both be searching for Lavallees that changed their name to Lovely, we have to be connected somewhere.

Since we last corresponded, I've found more information and clarified some of what I thought I knew....here's where I am right now....

Alexandre Lavallee (b. 1840) married Philomene (Phoebe) Allaire (b.1842) on September 29, 1863 at St.Athanase, Iberville, Quebec. They had nine children; at least four (including my husband's great great grandfather) were born in Canada before they came to the US (Worcester, MA) about 1880. Their children's names were John, Alfred, Louis, Cora, Blanche, Delia, Mary, Frank, and Rosamond.

All the sons, I know, lived their lives in or around Worcester. A few of the sisters moved to Providence RI and one to New York but there they lived under married names. I have not yet found a link to Vermont but it seems like there has to be one.

If I could find out more on the family in Canada we might find the source.

Cindy,I have some vital records of the Lovely's,(Lavallee's) It is a Plus that the name changed.Joseph Paquet Dit Lavallee married Josette Pelletier Dit Sansoucy in 1824 in Quebec.They had 2 Sons (Joseph and Francois) both born there as well.I have Vital Records That Connect my family to This One.What i am still looking for Is Birth and Marriage Info on There Son John(My GG Grandfather).I Have his Death Info.He was Know as Dustin,Austin and Dusty.I Do have More info on some of The other Family Members as well.If you need some info let me know and i'll see what i can do.

I received some of my family history from a lady in Vermont. I have found info on my gr.grandfather - Apollinaire Lavallee and my gr gr grandfather Andrew Lavallee. My mom also told me we are related to the Paquet & Pelletier family which I noticed in some of your info.

I am looking forward to finding out how I am related to Calixa Lavallee. As well my brother tells us that we are related to Francois Xavier Lavallee, who is he to you?
