Hello, John! I'm very interested in sharing information with you. I have:
John Lauderbaugh b. Germany; m. Ann Shane (b. c1782). The only child I have listed for them right now is Milton Lauderbaugh (from the Civil War).
Milton Lauderbaugh b. 7 May 1812 in either Switzerland Co., IN or in KY; m. Ann Clark 9 Aug 1838; d. 15 Aug 1901 in Meridian, Ada Co, ID.
Milton served in the Civil War as a private of Company C, 12th Missouri Cavalry. He was captured at Campbellsville, TN on 24 Nov 1864. Milton was a prisoner at Andersonville. He was parolled 28 Apr 1865 at Jacksonville, FL.
Milton was a Charter Member of the Wyreka, Missouri GAR (Mansfield Post).
He paid for a tombstone in Powersville/Wyreka, Putnam Co., Missouri prior to moving to Idaho. The stone mason (?) went ahead and erected a tombstone, as he had been paid. Milton has a headstone in both Missouri AND Idaho.
Name also found spelled as LAUGHDEBOUGH.
