2nd auto sought in Lockport fatal
Lockport, N. Y. (UPI) – Police are searching for an automobile involved in a two-car crash in the Niagara County city of Lockport that claimed the lives of two teenagers and left a 21-year-old man in serious condition.
Police Sunday identified the victims as Barbara Falls, 19, of Medina, and Timothy Laubacker, 18, of Lockport. Police said both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, Timothy Laubacker’s brother, Eugene, 21, was in serious condition at Lockport Memorial Hospital.
Police said two cars were drag racing along West Avenue near the city line about 1 a.m. Sunday when the cars sideswiped.
Authorities said one of the cars veered off the road and smashed into a utility pole, while the second car sped from the scene. Police said they had no description of the second vehicle.
