Dear Elizabeth,

I am also researching Lau's who immigrated from Poland but were German. Do you know of any siblings of August and Julius? My g-grandmother was Rose Lau and I know she had several brothers and sisters but I have had trouble finding them. We also have a Paulina Lau in our tree, who interestingly enough, was the mother of Rose's husband. His name was Julius Lawson. I have often wondered if Rose and Julius were related somehow as I know marrying cousins was not unheard of then. Just seems we have lots of similarities here ... maybe there is some connection. Would love to know what other info you have.
