My ancestors are the JEROME DIT LATOUR.
They came from France in 1648 & departed from Brittany, Normandie & the region of Poitou ( west of France ).
They established themselves in Quebec: Trois-Rivieres, Varennes,& Montreal region.
They were Huguenots.................had to convert to the Roman Catholic faith to survive.
I am studying genealogy in Menlo Park, California & my Professor is Richard Rands, President of the Silicone Valley Genealogy club.
