I'm trying to discover the genealogy of my maternal grandfather, Armond Edward Lathrop. I know he had family in the Galesburg, IL area. He was born in the late 19th C. He was a Free Methodist minister. Please e-mail me with any info you might have or sources where I could locate such info.
Thanks in advance,
Jim Gregory

My Great Uncle Armon Edward Lathrop of IL.

Jim - Please email JANLENB@aol.com
I have a photo of you, your daughter, your
sister her daughter taken with your mother
Helen. You live in Co. right. I came to visit
in the 80's and now have our line clear back
to Rev. John. I've wondered if you and your
sister have any old photo's of your grand-
mother, grandfather taken with your mom and
your aunt that passed away in TX.? Sure
would like to talk to you on the phone. By
the way - my father was your mother's lst
cousin and my dad's father was Frank H.Lathrop of Peoria, IL.. Hope to hear from
you soon.

Hi Jim!
My grandfather was Frank Hill Lathrop son of Elias Lathrop who was your grandfathers' brother. My dad was Edward (brother of a younger Armon}. I think my dad used to correspond with Helen Gregory.

I am looking for information on Leeman (Lyman) Lathrop who was 58 years old in the 1920 Galesburg census. His wife was Mary.

I have a Lyman Lathrop but he is my 3rd g-granduncle and born in 1799 and died in 1877 Indiana. There might be a relationship there somewhere but I don't know where. I hope someone can help you. Good Luck!
