Nancy J. (Brown) Lassman, 74,
of Erie,pa,
died October 18, 2010, at the Abington Crest Nursing Center. She was born in Carnegie, Pa. on September 4, 1936, a daughter of the late John and Ann (Burns) Brown. Nancy lived her younger days on a farm in Meadville until 1948, when she moved with her family to Erie and attended Roosevelt School and then graduated from Academy High School in 1955. She married Walter Lassman in 1956 and became a housewife and raised three children. She was a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn â€" Downtown for 9 years, and then she had an accident in 1982 and became seriously disabled, where her family cared for her until 2000 when she became a resident of Abington Crest Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Rafalowski, four sisters, Margaret Brown, Thelma Schaffer, Mary DiMassi and Marjorie Howard and two brothers, John and David Brown. She is survived by her husband, Walter Lassman. Two sons, Michael Lassman and his wife, Debra of Albion and Joseph Lassman and his wife, Patricia of Erie. A sister, Dolly Rhodes of Franklin, Pa. Six grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Francis V.
