I am trying to figure out who two individuals which appear on the 1871 and 1881 censuses actually are. I am certain they are not the children of Richard as he names all of his children in his will dated 13 Nov 1900 yet these two are shown on the two censuses in question. The first is a Jane Lashbrook age 13 in the 1871 census (therefore birth is abt 1857) and the second is a William Lashbrook age 16 in the 1881 census (therefore birth is abt 1864). Neither of these two individuals appear on previous censuses for Richard. In the 1871 census the family residing in London, Middlesex County, Ontario and the 1881 they were in Conger, Parry Sound District, Ontario. Does anyone have any idea as to who these two individuals are. I am assuming that they may be nieces and nephews of Richard and both were born in Upper Canada.
Any thoughts about these two individuals?
