HI,
I am looking for family of Thomas Lapointe born 1875, son of Philomene, born about 1844 and ? Lapointe. They came to the USA in 1880. I found them in the 1910 census in Blackbrook, NY under the name of Fisk. I do not know how they went from the name of Lapointe to Fisk. Perhaps Philomene remarried. She is listed in the 1910 census as a widow. I am told that he had a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Delia. Delia married Henry Brassor. Thomas married in 1904 to Julia Morris Lafountain (her second marriage, first marriage was to Louis 'Moses' Lafountain of Danemora, NY, in 1895). I do not have much information on Thomas or his mother prior to 1910. Any help would be appreciated.
