I am looking for information on Thomas Lapoint. He is my husband's grandfather. I know he was born in quebec, Canada about 1875, and came to the USA with his mother, Philomene (born about 1844) in 1880. I also know that Philomene had 6 children, and in per the 1910 census there were only 3 living: Thomas, Joseph and Delia. I do not know if Joseph and Delia were older or younger than Thomas. Nor do I know the name of the father of Thomas. In the 1910 census Thomas, his wife Julia and his mother are living in Blackbrook, NY under the name of Fisk. Could your Lapoint's be related to my Thomas? Any help would be appreciated.
