Two daughters, Emily and Marinda, of the 1818 Pendleton Co KY marriage of Edmund Simpson to Sarah Marksberry
--each married a son of 1820 Grant Co KY marriage of Richard James Landrum to Betty Frakes

NOW NEW FAMILY RECORD ADDED:
a third Simpson sister, Sarah, bore a child 1860 with one of the above Landrum brothers, while evidently each was married to somebody else:
Despite the unconventional parentage, Hester Jane Landrum (1860 Grant Co KY - 1929 Pendleton Co KY) was soon adopted by one of the above sisters and her Landrum husband, and Hester went on to bear at least 6 kids by her first 2 husbands, both of whom she outlived.

Hester Jane Landrum’s death record tells her father as Wm Lewis Landrum and her mom as Sarah Simpson,a sister of the Simpson that some had compiled as Hester’s mother on internet trees.(possibly a fairly common illegit mother being the younger sister of W L Landrum’s wife) The record certainly seems to say that was an illegitimate birth from adultery, as both W L Landrum and Sarah Simpson were married to other spouses at the time, as near as I can infer.
