I am a direct descendant of Anthony Lamping who was born circa 1770 and died August 10, 1828.My father was Joseph William Patrick Lamping.A aunt of mine told me a couple of years ago that she used to play with a Family Bible when she was a child. This Bible has "disappeared" over time. This would have been about 60 or seventy years ago (when she was a child).
As I believe The Lampings "originated" in Eastern Ontario and have branched out from there perhaps someone in our extended family has seen or knows something of this Bible that has great records of the family at that time. None of our family here in Ontario knows anything of its where-a-bouts. Does anyone?
