I'm seeking the father of Sarah Cunningham Lamme. Her grandfather was Capt. Walter Cunningham (1740-1808) of Augusta County, later of Jessamine County. Sarah Cunningham Lamme (1798-1896) was mentioned in Walter's will (some transcriptions of the will incorrectly identify her last name as Lamine or Lemine). Her mother was Walter's daughter Sarah Cunningham (1707-1807).

I suspect that Sarah Cunningham Lamme lost both parents at a fairly early age. She is the only grandchild of Walter Cunningham that is mentioned in his will. Many online trees just show "Samuel" as her father, but I think that is based on assumption because of the mention of Samuel Lamme as a surveyor in the will. I think the will refers to Samuel Lamme who is well-documented in Harrison County KY.

Sarah Cunningham Lamme married Walter Cunningham Price, son of Winfrey Ebenezer Price and grandson of William Price of Jessamine County.
