Our cottage in the Midland area was next to an Asselin family that also had a home right in Midland, and coincidently, we are Lambies. There are a lot of Lambies in the Elmvale Area, about 30 minutes from Midland. I would start there. We are in Toronto, but I cannot trace our roots back all that far. My great grandfather was in Barrie for a time, which is also near Elmvale. Good luck.
