my gggrandfather was William Nathan Lamb second born son of John W Lamb, and brother to Nancy Adgerilla Townley. The earliest documentation I have for Nathan Lamb John's father is 1840 census showing Cache Greene County Arkansas. My research hit a brickwall with the 1850 census. I also do not have any info on Sarah Ann except she was born in Alabama in 1823 and died in White County Arkansas in 1870. I never spent much time researching her but I will see what I can find. I have much more information on the later family and all their children if you would like to share information. I would love to see the picture of Nancy's grandmother. S o you were told the simpson girls were full blode indian. I know there is indian in this family, I have yet to prove it though. I have a picture of Knotts in the sixth or fifth grade if you would like to see a copy, let me know.
