Hello, all,

I am having the hardest time tracking down my GG-Grandfather, Frank (Franciscus / Francesco / Francisco) Lagano. We have determined that his name was originally Lagana and for some reason it was changed over the years, maybe he changed it. Anyway, hopefully someone will recognize him by the following information:

His first child was born in 1899, so I am ESTIMATING his birth at around 1881. He claimed Reggio Calabria as home. He married Carmela Cambareri. He came to America in 1905, already married with two children, Pasquale and Marianna. Due to Italian Naming Traditions I am ASSUMING that Frank's parents were Pasquale and Marianna. :) Of course, I am very flexible in this "assumption". :)

We know that he had at least one brother come to America, but we don't know his name.

Frank is said to have died around 1939 in Elkton, (Cecil Co) Maryland but Maryland says that no such death took place. As their property was on the Delaware line, he might have been taken to Newark, (New Castle) Delaware and died there.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any information at all to lead to the discovery of evidence of Frank Lagano/Lagana. :)

Thanks!
