My niece (initals J. L.), was adopted by her step-dad. Her biological dad was having some difficult times then. He only gave her up because he felt it was better for her at that time. He still loves her and hopes that she will contact him someday of her free will. She knows how to get ahold of the family. I, her aunt is only 7 years older than she. When she was taken away from my family, I lost a friend and playmate. I will always have a special spot in my heart and think of her often.
