I am Henry Louis Ladusaw daughter, my grandfather was Henry Mac Ladusaw, grandmother Katie M Durr both born in kentucky, im looking for any info on John R Ladusaw, Abraham Ladusaw, and Pierre Ladoucci. I am a descendant of Pierre and would love to see any physical document of his life. I find it hard to believe that he was born in 1777 and would have any involvement with the American Revolution. He was probably born about 1790. He had four children. John, Abraham, Vetile and a daughter named Charlotte born in 1823. I have done a lot of research on my family name of Ladusau and there is some significant confilict on some of the history. Since Mr. Reckinger states he knows more about Pierre, I would enjoy seeing documentation supporting his existence.

I am doing research on my family tree. My mother is Mamie Ladusau Youngblood. Her parents were Charles Clifton Ladusau and Mary Ann Woodward Youngblood. Tim Ladusau has sent me some information. My aunt is Martha Ladusau Talley.

I am seeking information on a Charlotte (Lottie) Ladasau born about 1823 in Henry Co, KY? Died after 1900 Henry Co, KY She was married to Robert Alcorn supposedly in Indiana.

Vetile & Mary Ann Ladusaw is my great-great-grandparents;
Children of this marriage were:
Joseph A. Ladusaw B-May 24, 1855,
Fortunatus Fletcher Ladusaw B-July 7, 1857,
Warren Clifford Ladusaw B-Aug 8, 1859 - my great grandfather,
He married Susan V. (Frazier) Johnston-Ladusaw = a second marriage for her with children of the Johnston Marriage. Their children were: Lewis Johnston - died as a young child; and Ella Florence Ladusaw - my grandmother. I have photos and original info from Vetile on... If I am doing this right, I have attached quite a bit of the info here. Please add the children to your site as the only one I see listed is Fletcher, who changed his name around. I also have a large group photo of the Ladusaw/Slaughter group!

Hi! I received your e-mail today. I also forwarded it on to my husband's cousin because he has some info he might be able to send to you. And, I was just sent a little while ago a couple census reports from another relative in the Ladusaw side. If you will send me your e-mail address I will forward those census reports on to you. I am looking for my gggrandmothers' family. She was born in KY abt 1817, Henry Co, KY. Her name : Charlotte "Lottie" Laddusaw (on her marriage certificate)
She married Robert Alcorn on 27th July 1837, in Lawrenceberg, Dearborn County, Indiana. I have a certified copy of her Marriage License transcribed in 2001.

Any info would be deeply appreciated

Ami- if you are the person who asked about you ancestor Mary Jane Laddusaw, then I have a lot of information for you about the Laddusaw family before and after the time of 1841.

To David, you wrote on February 13 in search of information about the reckinger family. You will have to supply me with more information. Your Reckingers are most likely from Luxembourg as were mine. It's not a common name in the US but over there it is.

Darrell, I am looking for Laddusaw ancestors. My oldest known Laddusaw is John Laddusaw, born @ 1816 and married to Rohama Shannon in Hamilton Co. Ohio on 3/23/1837. Can you link your Ladusaws to John? From what I have come to believe, John's Father was a Frenchman named Pierre with a surname of LaDoucci, LaDucci, or LaDuke. His Mother was from New Jersey. I feel that if the ancestors of the Laddusaws and Ladusaws were linked, then I could go back further on the family. I have a wealth of information on John Laddusaw's family and would gladly give to you. I am a descendant of Pierre Ladoucci. The name has been changed several times since his arrival. Pierre had two sons, John and Vitale. I am under the Vitale Laddusaw line. If anyone has any info on this family or needs some info, please reply.

Looking for information on a John Ladusaw. He was probably born around 1885. He appeared around Seminole, Oklahoma in the 1920's and married my great Aunt. They were divorced after a few years. I have a picture of him and my great Aunt but no other information. He does not appear in the 1920 or 1930 census or I am not spelling the name right. I would like to know more about him.

William Laddusaw is Mary Janes only brother he was born in Indiana approx 1838 I am a descendent from him. I do have some information if you still need it.

This is the female Chris Ladusau from Moore, OK. I have been trying to research the ancestry of Gene (my husband) and his brother, Chris. I reached a road block at their grandfather. I was so excited to see your post on Ancestry.com. I would appreciate any information you can give me past Harry Ladusau. I'm sorry I have nothing to help you with. I've done pretty well with Gene's maternal side. I am going to Washington DC next month and will stop in the NARA to hopefully find something. Thanks in advance for any information you share.
