Pierre

I am a descendant of Pierre and would love to see any physical document of his life. I find it hard to believe that he was born in 1777 and would have any involvement with the American Revolution. He was probably born about 1790. He had four children. John, Abraham, Vetile and a daughter named Charlotte born in 1823. I have done a lot of research on my family name of Ladusau and there is some significant confilict on some of the history. Since Mr. Reckinger states he knows more about Pierre, I would enjoy seeing documentation supporting his existence.

Tim Ladusau

And, I was just sent a little while ago a couple census reports from another relative in the Ladusaw side. If you will send me your e-mail address I will forward those census reports on to you. You may already have them, I don't know. We had just found Charlotte's name under Ask.com and were trying to find out where she fits in with this family. I hope we can make a link. Anyway, my e-mail address babciachris@aol.com. Hope to hear from you soon. Chris Ladusau

Darrell, I am looking for Laddusaw ancestors. My oldest known Laddusaw is John Laddusaw, born @ 1816 and married to Rohama Shannon in Hamilton Co. Ohio on 3/23/1837. Can you link your Ladusaws to John? From what I have come to believe, John's Father was a Frenchman named Pierre with a surname of LaDoucci, LaDucci, or LaDuke. His Mother was from New Jersey. I feel that if the ancestors of the Laddusaws and Ladusaws were linked, then I could go back further on the family. I have a wealth of information on John Laddusaw's family and would gladly give to you. My e-mail address is- reckinger@black-hole.com My home address is 8533 Imperial Ave. Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016 I can trace almost any Laddusaw of today to John and Rohama, but not one of the Ladusaws due to their locales. I feel that John had a brother whose family eventually spelled their name with one d. Thank you for answering my inquiry. Herb Reckinger

Hello Chris,
>
> I saw your request to know more about your ladusau family. Very likely you are also related to myself and my family. I am the son of Don Ladusau. My brother is Tom Ladusau. I have cousins living in Edmond Oklahoma and in Enid where I was born. I kind of got into this ancestry because the name is so odd and my grandfather Harry Ladusau did not talk much about his family. Anyway, the good news is that the Stillman and Dale Brown family have done some amazing work on their respective family trees and also includes the Ladusau family tree. If you will go to google or ask.com and in the search bar type Piere Laducci, it should take you to the main index showing where a lot of research was done. Scroll down to where you see a reference to Ladusau Stillman and click on it. It should take you to the tree.
>
> In a nutshell, Pierre Ladoucci comes to America as a soldier for Lafayette during the American Revolution. He marries a lady from New York and eventually work their way into Indiana and later into Iowa. Pierre has two sons as you will see. Most of the history and reference comes from his son John. However, my great grandfather was Fletcher F Ladusau who married Mary Elizabeth Sherfey. They are both buried in Garber Cemetery. My Great Great grandfather is Vetile Ladusau or Laddusaw or Laduson. I have seen the name spelled all kinds of ways. As a side note, by marriage, I am related to some very very famous people including Robin Hood. Anyway the search in the tree is quite amazing. If you need further assistance, please email me. I am just starting to get heavily into this unusual name and history. How are we related?
>
> Sincerely
>
> Tim Ladusau
I am a descendant of Pierre Ladoucci. The name has been changed several times since his arrival. Pierre had two sons, John and Vitale. I am under the Vitale Laddusaw line. If anyone has any info on this family or needs some info, please reply.

Thanks

Tim Ladusau

Looking for information on a John Ladusaw. He was probably born around 1885. He appeared around Seminole, Oklahoma in the 1920's and married my great Aunt. They were divorced after a few years. I have a picture of him and my great Aunt but no other information. He does not appear in the 1920 or 1930 census or I am not spelling the name right. I would like to know more about him.

This is the female Chris Ladusau from Moore, OK. I have been trying to research the ancestry of Gene (my husband) and his brother, Chris. I reached a road block at their grandfather. I was so excited to see your post on Ancestry.com. I would appreciate any information you can give me past Harry Ladusau. I'm sorry I have nothing to help you with. I've done pretty well with Gene's maternal side. I am going to Washington DC next month and will stop in the NARA to hopefully find something. Thanks in advance for any information you share. Chris Ladusau
