I am looking for any information regarding William A Kyte 1884-1966 and his wife Mabel Evelyn Pepper 1889-1970. They had three children Margaret E Kyte (Peggy) 1919-2011 (she married Fred Riley), Frederick E Kyte 1917-2000 and John A Kyte (Tony) 1926-1995 (he married Doris Pointon). My mother and her father are related and would like to make contact if anyone can help.

Thankyou

Not as yet, I first noticed your post with the name Doris Pointon as this is my family name... incidentally FMP has the army service records for Thomas Pepper along with a copy of his death certificate in 1939. What info are you looking for about the Kytes?

Ah, I see. Are you directly related to Doris? William A Kyte (who married Mabel Pepper) is my great grandfather's uncle. I am looking into the kyte family for him, he is 94 and can remember meeting up with his uncle and cousin but sadly lost contact with them

No not related as far as I know.... The address given on Thomas Pepper's death certificate in 1939 is: 60 Royal Military Avenue, Folkestone, Kent, if that's any help. The informant was his son W. Pepper of the same address. At FreeBMD Mabel Evelyn Kyte (same birthdate) died Dec qtr 1970 Coventry Vol 9c P2110 and William A. Kyte aged 81 died June qtr 1966 Coventry Vol 9c P711. Buying their death certificates may get some leads for you.
