I have a birth certificate of my Grandmother, Katryzna Kwolek aka Ekatryzna/Catherine/Kate/Katherine she came to USA 1910 to New Jersey with her husband Pawell Jablonski and a daughter Karolina, she was born 05 Nov 1905. Lancut Poland. Thank you for your time if there are any questions you would like to ask please do, I have other names on the baptismal paper Antonius Kolek , Likoskzi?.

My great grandfather Franciszek Kwalik (Kwolek) came to the US in 1899 by himself. In 1900 his wife Magdalena and their 4 children came to the US. The parents of Frank isd Marcin Kwolik andf Katarzyna Czyzowicz. Do not know the siblings to Franciszek. I think he may be from the Krosno area. Does your grandfather have any siblings who might be related. He died between 1902 and 1903 so I do not have any information n him at all. Frank's approx date of birth is 1854.

I am very sorry but I cannot help you,my Ekatryzna is from Lancut, Poland . I am still trying to find her family. She was born 19 November 1886 it says on her baptism papers she was baptized Roman Catholic , her father was Francesik Kwolek.

I am looking for a Katrazyna Kawlik born 5-22-1890 Died 4-25-1935 In Hammond Indiana. Married Walter Edward Bienko.
Her father is Marek Kwalik.

We never knew any of your family either. Helen had 5 children, Sofie had 4, my family had 3 and don't think Al had any children.

Who knows what happend to cause us not to get together. Al lived in Venice California, Helen, Sofie and my Father lived in New Castle Pennsylvanis where your grandfather was born. I live in Connecticut now. I really would like all of us to get together somehow. Andy, Al, Walter, Helen and Sofie are all dead sorry to say. I'm probably the same age as your father but not retired. I work at www.stcc.edu

Joe Kwolek is my dad, he was a police officer some years back but has now retired and living in Alabama. Andy my grandfather died in the late 70s..I don't know any of my family on the Kwolek side. My dad was an only child.. I also have two younger brothers, Troy Kwolek and Brian.

Andy was my uncle, my father's brother. Andy was the youngest in the family of 5. Their mother died when my Father was 9 so Andy was around 5. I have a picture of all of them and my grandmother was still alive.It was Helen, Sofie, Al, Andy and Walter along with my grandfather Joe. The two girls quit school to rais ethe boys. Grandfather died around 1952.

I've tried getting in contact with my cousin Joe but with no luck. I believe he was a policeman at one time. I only met Andy once. Really didn't know him but he look like his brothers, you could tell they were from the same family. All of them joined the Marines after pearl harbor

I am Joe Kwolek Jr. of Wallingford. My grandfather was Peter Kwolek of Meriden. I have info on the Peter Kwolek family to the present time. Do you know when my grandfather went to Poland to get your stepgrandmother Sally (Salomea Wilk). Also do you know when your grandfather came to the USA? I see you wrote this a long time ago! However, I too have a last name of Kwolek and have many relatives named Kwolek in and around Detroit Mi. I'm 25 yrs old and my great great grandmother came over from Poland in the 1930'ish I believe. My grandparent both grew up in polish households in the Hamtramick area near Detroit and there seems to be a large connection to the name Kwolek and the state of Michigan!

I doubt this helps anybody but I though I'd throw it out there!

Terri, we have not gotten past John's father and mother. We wrote 6 letters to Poland and have not received any replies. John has no living relatives to assist in the research and John passed away this year so I am abandoning his research. I'm sorry I am unable to help you.

If you are still looking at this board, I would like to see if my husband's family and yours are related somehow. This is the information we have: Andrzej Kwolek, b. 1832 married Katarzyna Balasejder (ph) b. 1833 and married in 1850. The children they had that we know of were: Anna Kwolek b. Aug 19,1857, d. May, 1944; and Aniela Kwolek b. Dec 15, 1859.
Anna Kwolek married Jan Szarek, Sr. and had the following children: Katarzyna b.Oct 27, 1883 d. Oct 22, 1975; Marianna b. Nov. 9, 1885; Aniela Szarek b. Dec 4, 1888; and Jan Szarek b. May 25, 1891 d. Jan 28, 1973. After Jan Szarek, Sr. died, Anna Kwolek married Jan Gorniak in Aug 26, 1909. We believe that there were other children born of the original Kwolek union, but do not know their names. If you have any further information on this family, I would appreciate hearing from you.

I am researching my maternal grandmother's family. Her name was Antonina (Kwolek) Bialek (married Kazimierz Bialek). Antonina was from Szufnarowa (Wisniowa) Rzeszow Poland. She had 6 siblings (Maria, Zofia, Emilia, Helena, Stanislawa, and Jozef) that I know of. She was the daughter of Feliksa Piekos (of Jaszczurowa area) and Jan Kwolek. I further believe my great grandfather, Jan Kwolek, was the son of Tekla and Piotr Kwolek. Any further information would be most appreciated.

I believe it was my grandfather Peter Kwolek that went back to Poland to bring back Salomea to marry Walter. I have been in contact with Kazimiera Kwolek Bober of Domaradz, Poland.

Hello::I need to talk to someone regarding the Kwolek descendents. My Grandmother was born Catharina Kwolek
19th November 1886. Her father was, Francesiek Kwolek,
her mother was Josephi Wanowicz. I believe my Grandmother Catharina Kwolek had a brother or Uncle named Antonieus

You should talk to my father, Henry Kwolek. He has done a lot of research into the Kwolek family line, speaks Polish and has visited Poland several times to talk to the relatives there.

He lives in Fultonville, NY. You can find his number through the white pages (I will give it to you in a private email if you write me at the LarryKwolek@hotmail.com but I don't want to post it on the internet.

Just explain to him how you found me on the internet and he will talk your ear off about the kwoleks ... :-)

My name is Wislaw Kwolek. I am from Nowy Sacz (Poland). My grandfather - Franciszek Kwolek was born 1900 in Kombornia near Krosno (Poland). His older brothers and uncles emigrated to USA in years 1880 - 1905. They have never contacted with family in Poland.
Surname Kwolek is very popular name only in one place in Poland. Most of them lives near city Krosno.

I'm from New Castle Pa. My father was Walter Kwolek son of Joseph Kwolek. He had two brothers, Andrew and Al and two sisters, Helen and Sofie. His brother Andy was in the Marine Corp. and settled in Savannah Georgia after the war. I have a cousin in Georgia who I have never met him.

The father Joseph worked in a tin mill and died in the early 1950's. My grandmother died when my father and his brothers and sisters were very young. The family was raised by the two sisters.

Looking for infromation my grandfather, Lawrence KWOLEK, born 8-10-1876 in what now is known as Poland. Not sure how many siblings he had but he was the son of Sebestain Lawrence KWOLEK. Mothers name was Maryanna, madian name ZEPA also born in Poland. After having two children they came too United States about 1907, settled in New York for a brief time and moved to Muskegon, Mich. They had a total of nine children and Lawrence died in 1951 and Mary 1963. Any information would be helpful.
