hello, i was lookin at retracing my roots also. my grand father on my mother's side came from canton (toi san). his name was quan hum(william), married chen hay chang(mary) and migrated to trinidad, west indies, where they settled for 25 years. following that he sent for his brother quan hin (james) and migrated to ontario, canada. he has another brother here in trinidad, quan vie(william) and seven other siblings back in china. four sisters to his step mother and three siblings to his mother, a boy and two girls. any possibility of a common ancestry?if so i would love to hear about them
