Hallo, don't you know where went name Kvasnicka from? In Czech the word "kvas" means "yeast" or "ferment" or "bowl". And probably this name won a man who produced spirits (fruit fermentation process). My grand mother said it was a village (perhaps in east Slowakia area - by Ukraine borders), where every second man had this name. Don't anyone know more about our forefather(s) and where are they indeed from?

I know the name is Czech not really sure where it came from.

There are many people with the name from what I have been in my reseach for my grand parents in Czech.

Would love to get a famiy tree together, but I have had much trouble since my parents died when I was pretty young and those ties were lost. I was born here in the US and both my parents were born in Czechoslovakia. The Czech embassy will not give any info about any Czech person even if they are related to you.
