I checked the Social Security Index and it
listed a Frank Kvasnicka born 1903, died in
1983 in Cozad, Nebraska. Is he part of your
family?

I'm interested in descendents of Joseph Kvasnicka
from Crete, Saline county, Nebraska. His wife
Anna Kohl Kvasnicka was my great aunt.

Joseph and Anna were my great grandparents. My grandfather Robert Kasnick(wife Doris Lewis) was one of his children.I am interested in meeting and getting to know my family.

Anna Kohl Kvasnicka had 12 brother and sisters!

I know very little about the Kvasnicka family but
do know Joe had at least two brothers, William and
Charles. One of Anna Kohl Kvasnicka's sisters is
still alive (97, I believe).

Frank Kvasnicka was my great grandfather. He had two sons Darwin & Marlyn. I am not sure of his parents names. He was originally from Kansas I believe and lived a large part of his life in Cozad NE.

Lonnie, My message was in response to a query by Joan Peel in April of 1999, regarding any info on her ancestor Frank Kvasnicka, born before 1864 I believe. In our Kohl family, the only Kvasnicka we have is Joseph Kvasnicka, Jr. born 1892 and died 1986 in Wilber area, Saline county, Nebraska. He married my great aunt, Anna Kohl. I believe its very possible that the Nebraska Kvasnickas are related, but have no proof. There was a William and a Charles Kvasnicka that I believe were Joseph, Jr.'s brothers. Joseph Jr. and Anna had 2 children, twins. The "children" are still living, as far as I know, but my parents have not been in contact since 1960, a picnic in Crete, Nebraska where photos were taken. I also asssume that Joseph, Jr.'s father's name was Joseph. I visited the cemetery in Wilber and found their gravestones in 1999. Thanks for your reply and interest.

Frank Kvasnicka is a descendent of Jiri Kvasnicka alias Vanek and Katerine. The date is 1771, at Predbor N.15. I may have an ancestor that was related to your ancestor but I have no proof. The surname of Kvasnicka in the Czech Republic is rather common. I do know that your line in the USA is not connected.

Hi,
Ask your mom if she knows E Kvasnicka and the late E kvasnicka from Kansas. She and your dad have shared many a cup of coffee. I'm the dau of the late E Kvasicka. If you are really interested in the family heritage get in touch with me through the snail mail or postal, your mom should have E's address, my aunt will get in touch with me. As I said, the family records go back to the 1700's, and we have pictures of many of the descendents, and other things of interest.
Too much to send you by EMail.
Oh yes, sorry to hear about your dad, my mom is in a nuring home and I don't get the news as fast as I used to.
