Hello,
I am searching high and low for relatives of Ludwig Kvasnica. He is my father, but he died and I dont know any of his family. I was told that they live in Bratislava, Slovokia. His mother and fathers names are Stefan and Leahpoldine Kvasnica. If you or anyone you know has any information please email me.
Thanx,
Terisa

Hello Terisa, I am Phil Kvasnica from Manhattan,KS,USA, and my family has kept and maintained (for the most part) a Kvasnica family tree that extends back to Jan Kvasnica, (and many in-between) which would be either my great-great or great-great-great grandfather or something. For some reason, Ludwig Kvasnica sounds familiar. Let me do some checking and I'll get back to you. FYI: I looked up "Kvasnica" on Google and came up with 77,000 entries, so apparently our name does have SOME clout! So are you presently living in Slovakia, or where? I'm kind of surprised that you wouldn't know who your grandparents are, but I guess some families are a bit "quiet" when it comes to family records. My father's parents, Karl and Maria(Bednar) Kvasnica emigrated from Slovakia, & died before I was born, so I didn't know them at all. Well, Terisa, I shall see what I can find out and get back to you.

Terisa, I just got off of Ancestry.com (its own website) and I looked up Ludwig Kvasnica and it said he was born 1944 in Czech Republic, and died in 1993 in Gobles, Michigan, USA, in Van Buren County. If this is the right Ludwig Kvasnica you're looking for, great. If not, I'll keep looking.
