I am looking for any information on the Kuzma family in the village of Kolibabovce, Slovakia. My grandfather Michael Kuzma (b. 11/3/1903-d. 9/25/1973) grew up in Kolibabvoce and later to moved Jersey City, New Jersey. His parents were Jan Kuzma and Maria Copcakova. If anyone has any information regarding this family please contact me. (Other families associated with this Kuzma family were the Mihalo's and the Ihnatovas. Mihalo and Ihnatova were the parents of Michael's wife Barbara Mihalo.)

My name is Maria Simkovicova Kuzmova, I was born in Kolibabovce 16.11.1934. My parents was Jan Kuzma(b.4.11.1904) and Maria Kuzmova-Mihalova(b.16.5.1909)her sister Barbora married with Michal Kuzma and they moved from Cecho-Slovakia to America. My grandmother was Maria Sopcakova.

My family was from this "city" as well. Mikal Savka born 1884 to Mikal Savka and Maria Sekalo and Maria Bucko, born in 1885 to ? Bucko and Maria Revicka. Mikal and Maria ended up in a suburb of Pittsburgh; I am their granddaughter. With a current population in the city of 188, there can't be that many families from the area!

HI, my great grandmother Augusta Kuzma lived with her Cousin Louis and his Wife Fransika, they had a son named Jan Kuzma...who changed his name to John when he moved to the states... any relation?

I would think they probably knew one another if they were all from such a small town but none of the surnames you listed are familiar to me. Sorry.
