My name is Candace. My fathers name is Fred Kuxhouse, is about 52-53. I know the name used to be Kuxhausen. His mothers name is Misako or Judy, she is japanese but his father was german. I dont know much because my father split when i was 2 yrs. Ive met some of the family who reside in washington state. His granparents on his dads side were ana and fred or frank? hutchins. Both of them have passed though. I know my father Fred is living in orange county, ca. last ive looked up. He has a brother named Robert/Bob and a couple of sisters cant remember names. If any of this sounds familar would be helpful. Curious as to where he is and why he left and where i come from.

thanks for your time

Rodna; Saw your post on the message board. I am Dick Kuxhausen from western Nebraska. In regard to the reunions, we have a picnic every year the last week of July in Scottsbluff or Gering Nebraska. This year it will be July 24, 2010 at Gering, NE. Tess Zeigler, now Tess Miller, is my niece. I have a lot of info on the Kuxhaus and Kuxhausen family back to the first Kuxhausen family to immigrate to Russia 1n 1765. If your ancestors came from the Volga region of Russia, we are most likely related. Both my parents came from Russia. Feel free to contact me at dux@prairieweb.com include Kuxhausen in your subject.

Benny Kuxhouse was my father, and those are all my aunts and uncles, most that passed away, Katie is still alive but very ill. There was also Sam and Adam for siblings. My grandfather Adam i never met, he died the yr i was born 1965.Unfortunately, most of them died fairly young the kids of Adam kuxhouse. It was changed from Kuxhausen to Kuxhouse to more americanize it. The ages of deaths were Adam 27 of gang green dont know the year, in the 50's i believe. Hank 40 in 1959 of a brain aneurysm, Sam 40 in 1971 in a work accident, was buried alive in a ditch and crushed by the weight of the earth, Marie around 55 of cancer in 84 or 85, my dad Ben of cancer @ 59 in 1987, Mollie 77 in around 1992 of some complications w her age related illnesses, Kenneth in 1996 of a heart attack, he had heart probs for 20 yurs before his death and still smoked 1+ packs a day and drank alot, lucky to live as long as he did.Nice to see a few of us around.

It has been very interesting reading the posts. I am looking for Susannah Elizabeth Catherine Kuxhaus. She was born 28 Jun 1850 in Werchnaja, Kulalinka, Russia. She was married to Johann George Keil and they lived in Kansas. If you have any info on her I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Christina
