My grandmother's cousin Jim settled Sioux City, Iowa, North Sioux City, SD area. Married Lida ?, several children. Sister believed to have been in Chicago. May have been others in the U.S. also. Maiden name of mother of Jim may have been PORADEK.

Shirley, I wish we could connect but our family came from southern Bohemia (Czech Republic). One brother, Frank, did live in Chicago. It seems that Kuta is a more common name than I'd realized. Thanks for the reply. Merrily

Re: KUTA and PORADEK family
James Henry Kuta b. 09-22-1889 near present day PlzeĆ, Czech Republic. Died 12-1971 in Sioux City, IA. Married Lydia Allard. To this union they had 5 daughters and 1 son. Dee, Gloria, Lorraine, Norma, James, and my grandmother, Ramona. I think some of them live in Nevada now. I don't know anything about James Sr lineage. Think he had a brother Frank that also came to America and ended up in California after a stop in Chicago area.
