I'm a Kuschel, too. My Great great grandfather was born in Berlin, Prussia. He and his wife (Hermine Wilhelmina Liesch) came to Chicago, IL (Cook County) sometime between 1871 and 1875. They lived at 435 August Chicago, IL in 1880.

this is something i am so surprised i have quick reply's to this could hermina be the mother of wilhelmina? was she bor in the year 1862 so then in 1896 she marries fred hansel? know anythng of a conduit in the middle of the drive which allows a pond to fill deep enough for ducks and children to play in the water? pond which never had floating poop in it! and rose arbor up and over the outhouse? currant bushes lined the driveway! mother taught piano so likewise my gra- ndmother and her mother knew music. fred was such the handy
fredman that he cemented the area so a pool would be right in the middle of the driveway. as my mom says a alice in WO- NDERLAND in wisconsin. oh i am so glad i've started to get her to open up about this! otherwise i never knew. i think she said the rohde home has been changed. but not sure of the hansel farmhome. does anyone know of this? so my question is; this hermine could be mother? husband name is?

my great grandmother was wilhelmina kuschel she had married frederick mart hansel is this still a valid site and do you frequent this site? so my grandmother was born in 1898 dakota township, waushara, wisconsin, usa. when my parent told me this lydia ,laura ,wilhelminna, amanda, hansel all her middle names represented the previous maternal parent! so even if i have one slipped in wrong that's three more generations past my grandmother! for lydia, laura, wilhelmina amanda hansel.
