Oh! That's really interesting to know--do you know if that's tradition with many Polish names?

If you mean do all Polish surnames have different endings for males & females, the answer is 'yes'. Names ending in -ski are masculine; the feminine is -ska. The ending for your family name is as I wrote you, & is usual for name endings other than -ski, for instance, Sobiesiak, Sobiesiakowa, -owna. In every case, if it ends in -a it is feminine!

Hi my name ids KayLyn and I happen to be the grand-daughter of Bruce Kusaj. If you would like info i can try to help but i am also looking for info.
|
KayLyn,
Your grandfather Bruce is my uncle. Which I believe makes us second cousins. Which one of his kids are your parents? Clayton, Kelly or Clifford.
I emailed Clifford the other day to say hi. He didn't remember me because my parents divorced 30 years ago so I haven't seen any of the relatives since then. I am the son of Bill Kusaj, Bruce's brother.
I have a brother William Russell who will be 47 in October and a sister Sandy Lee that will be 36 in December and there is me that turns 44 in June.
My sister has two boys Bryce and Braden and my brother has three kids two boys and a girl. But I can't tell you much about them because I haven't spoke to him in 25 years. We have a real close family. He is mad at me for being gay.
Tell you folks I said hi.
